Welcome to Vista forums......
If it's true that you are going to use your new computer as above than set up you're intend on putting together is more then sufficient enough to run. Even your old machine will do exactly the same with ease.
Nevertheless, if you want to buy new part rest assured that it will do what you want it to do

all looks ok to me. Might be worth going for 250gb hard drive if u plan to get 8gb of ram, the extra space would compensate for the hibernation system file & the windows paging file.

i dont plan on 8gb ram anytime soon now
im going for one stick of 2gb for now then another stick later
i only have one monitor for now (i thought i had 2)
and my brother is using it ( on his current computer )
so im going to have to buy one, less budget

4 people currently use this computer (160gb hd) and its still got around 100gb left so i doubt i can fill 250gb

i know my computer already does all the things i want but i didnt really mention i bought call of duty 4 for computer (cheaper then xbox) and it really REALLY wasnt performing smoothly at all, so i do use my computer for high quality games sometimes

and yes i am going to get windows x64 :D
thanks guys ;p

If you plan doing a little gaming a nVidia Geforce 8400 is not enough. Upgrading to a 8500 will be better for the performances.

I suggest 512Mb 8800GTS overclocked edition
