How do i find out if my pc rebooted?

I am having a sleep issue with another pc. Same as my one where the screen would go black but the fans etc would keep running. Although this time i left it for 20 minutes, came back & was able to get windows back on the screen. Is it possible the pc restarted itself while i was gone? is there a way to find out if it did?

A quick way to see if your computer as restarted is to check the uptime to see how long it has been running for. If the computer restarted, the uptime would restart as well. The uptime does not restart with sleep modes.

For your sleep issue, you might check through the items in this tutorial to see if any of them may be of issue. I would check to make sure that you are using the correct S3 or S1 sleep state (step 3), latest BIOS, latest motherboard chipset drivers, and latest video drivers.
