Unable to read .gp or .alb, a registry problem?

My Windows 64 bit is unable to read .gp or .alb folders, and online sources seem to indicate that this is a registry problem. This confused me though, because I just barely had to restore Windows Vista from the restoration disk after something seriously corrupted my registry. I have used errorsmart, which some forums seem to disaprove of...but I am wondering how I can tell what the problem really is. Any help is much appreciated.

Re: Unable to read .gp or .alb, a registry problem?

Hello Jules, and welcome to Vista Forums.

By default Vista cannot read or open these file extension types unless you have a program install that supports reading/opening them. I do not know what program that would be good for these, but here is some information about that may help you in finding a program for them.

.gp = File Extension .GP Details

.alb = File Extension .ALB Details

Hope this helps,
Shawn
