Unable to boot into windows Vista ultimate 32bit

I have a duel boot on my system, win vista and windows xp.
i installed windows vista 1st and then windows xp sp2
but after installing windows xp i am unable to log into windows vista.
when i restart it directly starts windows xp rather than showing windows select option
can any one help me with this problem.
i need the solution as soon as possible thanks

Reason for this is that when you install XP after vista, it wrights its own boot loader over Vistas one.
What you need to do is to boot from your Vista CD/DVD and go to repair console with command prompt and type either fixmbr or fixboot,
That should fix Vistas boot loader and lets you boot into Vista

i repaired using my vista dvd and now its working fine.
