    Activley Monitoring Startup

    Hi, I have noticed that during startup the pc is unresponsive shortly after my desktop appears. I assume this is vista loading some background programme.

    Is there a tool that shows exactly what is happening real time? Is there a programme that will show what is loading so I can trace what programme or service causes this delay?

    My computer takes about a 1 min to fully boot after getting to my desktop. Also its preloading the apps you use the most.

    I have followed the tutorial in this site to speed the boot process, but it still seems sluggish. I had used delayed start with winPatrol to try to help.
