system is a 64 bit, and it needs to be 32 bit

I have a friend that just bought a computer for her new job. She needs to download some meta frame program, and when she tries, it says her system is a 64 bit, and it needs to be 32 bit for that program.

She just got that computer for her work, does anyone know if she can make it work - or if she has to get a different computer?

If she just bought the computer, and she must have an x86(32-bit) based media version, she has a couple options available-
1. contact support/customer service and ask for a 32-bit version of the O/S. (this can be done even if she has only a recovery partition and no physical media disk, but there may be a charge)
2. she can borrow a friend's 32-bit media disk, enter her product key, and install 32-bit Vista.

I personnaly would just borrow someone else's disk which contains all Vista versions, install and activate with her own product key off the (bottom of her computer), and have a replacement Vista 32-bit media disk sent from the OEM. Her product key will work for both x86/x64, retail/OEM versions.
