Vista - Seriously help me urgently please!

Hey, I am running my laptop with a Nvidia geforce 8400GT graphics card. All of a sudden my Laptop restarted and when booting there is several rows of blue dots over the top. The laptop never gets to the log on page, it just restarts. I can get in on safe mode.

I have deleted the drivers and reinstalled them

System restore hasnt worked

to top it all of for some reason i cant open my c: drive but i can open the contents in side, but i cant change any settings.

Make and model of your laptop please, did you install any software prior to the problem.

Do you have the recovery disc made if not do you still have the recovery partition to do a startup repair. I don't know what key to press on a Sony Vaio there should be a key you press to get into the recovery then look for startup repair.

I dont have disc and there was no partition

Start up repair just tries to do a system restore

I get the parameter is incorrect when opening almost anything - this occurred after graphics incident

i also get the message: can't open control access editor access denied
