I just recently made a new computer i have

AMD 9950 phenom quad
2x seagate 1tb hard drives
asus m3n-ht
lg blu-ray drive
lg normal dvd drive
8x 2gb ddr2 1066mhz
XFX gtx 280 graphics card
thermal take toughpower 1200w
d-link n rangeboster
vista ultimate x64

i am having a problem it been two weeks since i had my new pc and it has just started to give me problems it started with not loading into vista. it would frezze at the black screen after loading. so i tried to reinstall vista. it work once then when i had to restart for updates it would frezze at black screen.

i tried to reformat my hard drive again it said "Error 0x80042453 can not create partion on the unpartioned space"
everytime i try it, it says that error even if i try to reformat on another pc it still says that error.

i can't attach the hard drive if i attend to go into vista on my other pc it trys to boot from the one that gives me the errors

please if u can help it would be great

Possibly a problem with the driver for your SATA Raid Controller. Make sure you have the correct and most recent driver for your chipset. Later, Ron.

If it is not bad drive it would be bad SATA cable or connection. I would first try to detach and reattach and wiggle the connection to make sure it is secure and may be swap SATA ports to see if it helps. Loosen SATA cable often happens and creats problems as yours. Let's hope it is this simple.
