800mhz ram shows as 400mhz

Hi. Just put 4gigs of corsair xms2 ram in.
When I open cpuz it shows as 400mhz is this right ?
I had 4gigs of something running at 533 I think, before.
Never looked at it using cpuz so don't know what it showed.
Thanks.
Brian.

Re: 800mhz ram shows as 400mhz

Hi skylab2000.....

your actual RAM speed is 2x the bus speed, so the 400mhz CPUZ shows is doubled giving you your 800mhz..

don't worry its correct.
