Recovery drive almost full

my recovery drive is almost full,its only got 327mb free of 5.56Gb
is there anyway i can reduce this without having to un-install programs?
i dont have that much on my pc:confused:

Hello Jaffa,

It sounds like your using the OEM's (Ex: Compaq) recovery manager program's restore points instead of the one for Vista. You should have a option in that Recovery Manager program to delete the restore points so that you can start over with new ones.

Not trying to steal this thread, but believe op was referring to his "d" (shadow drive) becoming full. Im having same problem to the point where i have directed my restore/backups to and external drive. (Hope this is making sense) I.e., the "D" drive on my system is showing as a 10 gig with less than 1 gig of space left.
(another question, besides this reply, How does one post a pic. in the threads...(noooobs, thats me).
