I am trying to setup the parental controls on standard user accounts but find that it doesn't behave as I want it to be.
1.) the activity report does not list even one website that is visited. It states how many occurrance of file download was blocked but does not fill up the most recent website list.
2.) even the most obvious websites are not blocked with the web content set to high.
3.) out of desperation I opted "only allowed list" and not list anything so that the kids can use skype but not browse. But almost half of the attempts on IE as well as Firefox are not blocked at all. It's a new PC and it's just me testing the accounts while configuring the parental controls.
Is some other software overwriting the parental control software like the bundled antivirus McAfee etc? Or have I not set it up properly?
