Overcooling?

I have 3 thermaltake smart case fan II installed on my pc,full power full time blow inside.(plus 1 arctic cooling blow outside)
1 for hard disks and 2 for motherboard,ati radeon 3870x2,and ram.
I will like to know if are too much and the overcooling has opposite negative results,as slow hard disks,cpu etc.

Hello Panais,

The main thing that is important is the quality of the airflow, and not just the amount. Do not get me wrong. More airflow is always better, but it needs to flow properly through your case around every component that produces heat and out the back of the case as fast as it comes in from the front of the case. It also helps to have good cable management by keeping those cables nice and neat and tucked out of the way to help improve airflow that much more.

If my hardware are too cold is bad?

No its not bad. However, you need a good balance of inbound and outbound fans to maintain the quality of air in and out of your chassis. You also don't want fans that cause a vortex and traps hot air in areas of the chassis. You want the air flow from the front of the chassis out the back. You want to bring in fresh cool air in for your components and remove the hot air from the back.

As long as it does not get cold enough for condensation to happen inside the case, then you are fine. Fans alone would not get any where near this though. You should be fine.

Many people believe that the secret to good cooling is plenty of fans, but if they are not configured correctly, they can actually make things worse. You want NEGATIVE as opposed to POSITIVE air pressure inside your case, i.e. more airflow OUT than IN. This configuration forces cooler air from outside to flow through the chassis, thus keeping things cooler.
Ideally, your airflow through the case should be from the bottom front to the upper rear.
