Vista Won't Install

Okay....So about 10 disks later..and every possible way to burn the .iso it won't install lol. I keep getting an error when it's loading the screen with the little grey bar. It says Windows has encountered a problem communicating wit a device connected to your computer. Status: 0xc00000e9 Info: An unexpected I/0 error has occured. I do not have a clue what that means but I'm almost ready to go borrow my buddies disk because this is becoming a pain. I've also tried 2 seperate torrents both the same problem so it clearly isnt the torrent.

Anyone have any ideas?

Torrent downloads of Vista is considered to be piracy and is not allowed to be discussed at Vista Forums.


If you have a valid product key number, then you can order a replacement Vista installation DVD for just S&H costs directly from Microsoft.

Windows Vista Alternate Media


If you have a OEM Vista copy, then you will need to contact your OEM for a replacement CD/DVD instead.
