| Ultimate x64 SP1 | "destination folder access denied" on folder/file rename ...on external hard drives. is there a way to take control on the whole drive? (TONS of folders on 2 different drives that i'd like to rename, etc here and there. thanks |

| Ultimate x64 SP1 | re: "destination folder access denied" on folder/file rename thanks Shawn, there was no right-click on the main drive (only on folders within it), so i used the "takeown /f Z:\" method that you mentioned in your tut. took about 20min +/- but still not 100% of the folders were "owned". I had to go in and right click on all the main folders and hit the take own. worked out about the same time in the end (if not quicker) |
