i was installing a particular software used for studies and it requires that students with vista should change to windows classic theme. I have changed it. during installation i get error 1335 which says-
"The cabinet file Data1.cab required for this installation is corrupt and cannot be used. This could indicate a network error, and error reading from CD ROM, or a problem with this package."
i have cleaned the cd as sometimes it ocurs due to dust on the cd. i have also changed the setting of run>msconfig>boot>advanced options>maximum memory to 160 or 256. but that was a big blunder. it slowed my pc. then i changed it to the original.
what am i supposed to do now? is the cd corrupt?? plz help
