| VISTA HOME PREMIUM X64/ 7 x64 / 7x86 | Re: Bios Cant Find Dvd Rom Hi, Not sure what you mean - it may call it cdrom. Did you enter F2 , or Esc, or Del , or whatever it is in your BIOS to enter Setup, and check under the Boot tab. You should find a variety of boot options, including Hard drive, Usb, and cdrom. Most Bios offer a pop-up Boot menu. Watch the POST screen (white writing on black screen right after you power up ) and it will say something like F2 for setup F11 for boot menu ( your F numbers may be different ) Press the key for boot menu and it should pop up. If you want to boot from a cd/dvd : Arrow down to cdrom drive, put dvd in drive, press Enter. If it asks again to press any key to boot from cdrom , press Enter again. Hope it helps SIW2 |
