Hello Yacht freya,
Can you upload a snip of you file properties
If you right click on the video icon in your browser and choose properties that is what i need to see. You can use the snipping tool to do this.
Hope to hear back
Ben

Hello neverhave money,
I know what you feel like. But you know what they say money itn't everything. Have you ever noticed it's only people with money who say that? Poor people like me never say that!
Thanks for your reply, you are the only person who is interested. I found to other people in another forum who posted the same problem, but no one bothered to reply. here is what one of them said:
"I have a DVD broken down into .VOB files, when I add them into Windows DVD Maker, it shows them each as a separate file, but for some reason it reads one of the files with a ridiculous time, like 25 hours and 6 minutes, and the rest of the files say "Will Not Fit", down on the bottom it says 1448 minutes over disc. Why are these certain files being read as being that long? For example...The movie has 3 files, each 42 minutes long. The first two files say 42:08 and 42:10, but the third file says 25:06:00..?
Any ideas? Thanks"
That's the problem is a nutshell. I've tried changing the time in "Video" in properties, but it won't. I will send you the properties as soon as I can. It's on my wife's laptop. I'm currently on mine. It ancient and slow but it works.
Will get back to you soon and thanks again.

Please help Second Try

My Sony camcorder uses .VOB files for some reason Windows DVD maker reads the files as being 25 hours long instead of 25 minuets. I have a suspicion that this is because it is reading the properties in hours minuets and seconds, or hours minuets and seconds and tenths of seconds, pushing the 25 minuets into the hours column. Whatever it is very frustrating, I know the files only 26 minutes and it won’t burn because DVD maker thinks it’s 26 hours.
Please help.
I found two other people with he same problem. Here what they said:
