kodak 5300 printer error

I run windows vista home premium I have a kodak 5300 all in one.
Every thing works fine except when I try to scan a document in to the computer I get an error
Error code 1-2008 kodak says it's a microsoft error.

Error Code 1, not 1-2008 (that's the year the error occurred) is generated by Device Mgr and is usually a Registry entry error code or the system could not initialize the device properly.
The first thing to try is to uninstall the drivers for this device, reboot and reinstall the most current driver from Kodak, which can be found in "Dwarf's" links above.

This wouldn't be the first time that KODAK EASY SHARE and Windows conflict. I have seen this kind of trouble between KODAK and Microsoft as long ago as Windows 95© and it doesn't look like it's going to be the last :)

I will give it a try again ,I have been working with kodak customer support for a week and have not been able to get any where. some one did say it was an error from microsoft.net.framework ??? i have no clue.

I'm not sure, other than it might require a subroutine that is present in one of the implementations of the .NET Framework. I am basing this on the reply you got from Kodak.
