arrow cut off @ orb button

Hi, I have a problem with the arrow next to the lock button. Half of it is missing. The only thing i have found was a reg hack to remove the lock button to allow more room for the arrow. The reg change did not work and messed up my mouse and keyboard along with no sound from media player. A system restore fixed everything. Has anyone had this problem with the arrow? See attachment. Thanks for any help

Hi

Welcome to the forums!

Are you using a custom DPI setting? That's the only time I've seen odd display issues is when the user sets a custom DPI setting.

Hi Larry

I had an issue using a 120 DPI with Roxio/Sonic My DVD10 app, it made the movie backgrounds all squarshed and distorted horribly, and the solution was in the Nvidia control panel settings...are you using an Nvidia card with the control panel Ntune?

If so, open the Nvidia CP and on the "Adjust Image setting with Preview" tab, make sure the check mark is in the "Let the 3d App decide" and see if that works. It worked to fix the display issues within Roxio apps and it just may be what's needed here too.

Dave, I have a ati card. The funny thing is that when changing the dpi on laptop this didn't happen. I will take a look at my ati card. Thanks so much for the fix. It was driving me crazy!:)
