Re: crash dump blue screen

Hi beiniam and welcome to Vista Forums

A bit more information please. What is the make and model of your computer? Does this problem occur for a specific program (which would indicate that you need an update for that program), or does it happen for any program? Exactly what does it say on the BSOD? Post back quoting the exact information displayed (use a digital camera to capture the image if necessary) as this information will help us to pin-point your problem (or, at least, narrow it down).

Re: crash dump blue screen

According to Bug Check 0xD1: DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL you have a driver issue - seemingly. On the surface it seems like it is a driver issue, but in fact it may end up being a power issue - Please edit your system specs section in your control panel here on the boards with all the info about your setup motherboard, (with model number) CPU, video card, PSU, etc - I ma guessing your machine needs a good spring cleaning or else that your PSU is simply going south.

It could, though, also be that you need drivers or an updated BIOS for your motherboard as well....

Hi beiniam,

To 'tip your scales', simply click on them (the middle symbol, as shown below). You can find these at the top right hand corner of the posts. You can, if you wish, also include a comment. The amount of points that you can give is based on your Rep Power:, which in your case is currently 1. This post explains more about this: Forum Rules
