I have notice a strange VistaService identified by "GtDetectSc" from the company "OptionNV" on my PC running Vista Ultimate.
I have disable this service, delete the GtDetect.exe file that was in Windows/System32 because it seem's to send some information of my pc to the internet.
Now my PC seem's to be long to respond with Explorer (sometimes hanging the PC) and with IE 7 (sometimes hanging IE).
Can anyone help.
Many thanks.

Hill welcome to the forum.

You wouldn't happen to have a wireless adapter in your computer would you? Namely on of these,

Option: wireless technology

That would be why you are having slowdowns when you go online now. Also found this,

This GTDETECTSC.EXE Malware Research Report contains GTDETECTSC.EXE findings.

relating to GtDetectSc, and every one of those has to do with a wireless adapter and it driver/service for it. If you can try doing a system restore to before you deleted the file and if that doesn't work try re-installing the driver for your wireless adapter.
