| Vista Ultimate | Folders missing sort of ?? Dual Boot Vista XP I have a dual boot of Vista Ultimate and XP Home on one drive. In Vista I can "see" and access all of my folders on the Vista and XP partitions but when I boot into XP I can't "see" or access my Vista folders on the Vista partition. I have been able to do so in the past but they are missing now.  Any help at all ? |

Dual Boot Vista XP Hello Nelly, This was done so that XP would not delete the Vista System Restore points everytime XP was started. If you do not use System Restore, then this tutorial below may be able to help you restore the default XP settings so you can see Vista again. I didn't use System Restore until a recent catastrophe changed my thinking around this useful tool. I'll leave things alone until I have my external drive (always get something techy for Christmas and that's all the budget will stretch to this year) and have created a Back Up image.
