Remove Focus Rectangle in Vista x64

I've been looking for a fix to remove the focus rectangle from vista, you know the dotted rectangle that appears around icons and buttons, especially when you use the arrow keys. I seen a fix for 32bit vista but can't find one for x64. Anyone know how to do this?

Actually, the focus rectangle is used by default to let you know that you have recently performed one or more operations with the keyword instead of the mouse.

As far as I can tell, you can hide it as follows:

Open Control Panel
Click "Ease of Access"
Under "Ease of Access Center", click "Change how your keyboard works"
Turn off the "Underline keyboard shortcuts and access keys"
Click "Apply"

Although, as far as I can tell, this does not prevent the Focus Rectangle from being displayed if you use the keyboard to open Explorer menu, change the selection, etc.

thanks for the reply but thats what im trying to do, get rid of the focus rectangle from explorer etc. The option in ease of access is already unchecked for me.
