Help with HP Notebook!

Hi,

I have a problem with my uncle`s notebook.

First of all, the notebook specs
-Vista Ultimate 32 bits, notebook HP pavillion dv6700
Core 2 duo t5550 1,83Ghz, 3Gb RAM , Nvidia 8400M GS Geforce.

He used the pre-installed vista home premium that came with the notebook.
And, he got a problem. The navigator wouldn`t just open Youtube, some images would only load 95% , and when the image loaded 95% , a error appeared instead of the full image (The image cannot be loaded because it contains errors ) .

He thought that the problem would be in his version of Adobe Flash, so he tried to install the new version, and then when he was in the site of adobe, they said that his OS was not supported.

So he upgraded to vista ultimate and the problem still persists.
I tried to install a clean version of the Ultimate, but the Boot Menu is not working,
I press f12, than he waits like 30 seconds, and then it boots windows vista.
And there is also the problem that the disc is not being recognized.

In another computer, the disc is recognized.
(OBS| The disc is lightscribe, ( the computer reads lightscribe) ).
(OBS2| Many people have the same problem)
Well, i think that is all..
If i said something wrong, please quote.

Thanks for your patience, Alex.

If you are having optical reading problem in your clean installation attempt, you can always wipe out your HDD then install Vista. Of course, I am assuming you have backed up all important data.
