| Vista Ultimate/SP1/32 bit | Burning a CD or DVD disc My dad has a problem burning JPEG's to a disc. He say that when he burn them they appear to look like TEMP icons. They are lighter looking. Now this is when he opens the folder to view all the pics not when he clicks one and opens it completely up. He swares this never used to look like this. He burns them like this he selects the photos by highlighting one and then going (Select All). Then he clicks the burn button on the tool bar. He tells me a box pops up that says MASTER or something ( ???) but he says he selects the MASTER button. Any help/questios will work. Thanks |

| Vista Ultimate x64 SP1 | Re: Burning a CD or DVD disc It has nothing to do with thumbnails being turned off. The files are probably in a cached condition waiting to be burned to CD. Sort of like when you send files directly to CD to be burned, or you use drag to disc. He just needs to tell the burning software to copy the files to CD. Since I haven't used this method in awhile, I don't have the correct procedures to offer a fix at the moment. |

| Windows 7 x64 build 7100 & Ubuntu 9.04 | Re: Burning a CD or DVD disc I do know the procedure so i will fill in for sygnus: When you right click on a file (such as your pictures) and say "Send To -> CD/DVD Drive", it sends the file to the cache waiting to be burned. To burn it, go to the drive where the files were sent to, and they should all be there, but lighter coloured. From there, look on the top of the window, and it should say "Burn to Disc" and click that. That should bring up a wizard that will take you through the steps. Hope that solves your problem ~Lordbob |
