i have laptop and istall vista ,after i divide my hard dics in 2 parts and now i want to instal xp profesional on my other part of hard disc but i can't when i start from cd in begining is found eror and tell that has newer version of operating system,when i want to install clasical like program have some problem and i can't to chose on wich part to install c or d.

It is said that XP should go first and thenVista but I think you can use this guide to do what you want. I used it when I wanted to do my dual boot and it worked for me... I had XP installed first though.
