Differences 32bit & 64bit benifits of each

hey guys/girls

so im currently running vista 32bit and i know some benifits of the 64bit like insane amounts of ram but other than that i dont really know. so could you tell me the benifits and diffrences of each?

could you also tell me why you picked what you picked, cheers:cool:

There's a feature in 64 bit called Patch Guard which in theory prevents the kernel of the OS from being patched by a program, malicious or otherwise. There's also some difference in the way hardware enforced Data Execution Prevention works, but I don't know about it.

I am that kind of consumer who always gets the bigger and latest, given a choice. Especially in tech products. I got 64 for no other reason than it is twice as big (And I had to make a decision quick before it sold out...so store warned).

And sure enough, later on I found out I made the right choice. The only reason I did not opt for Ultimate is it is an overkill, having more features than I care for or need. And even on that, I am not sure I am not regretting not going all the way.
