| Currently Windows XP SP3, but planning to get a new System with Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit | Windows Explorer stopped working - need to restart I don't know if my Threadtitle fits the exact English message (doubt it) but that's my Problem. Since the start of my PC today my Windows Explorer stopped working, everytime i click on Computer or Control Panel. It always just restarts the Explorer and i got the same again. By searching the Error via Google i found 1000s of Topics about this Issue, maybe you vista experienced Guys can help me throught the Problem. Thanks in advance  |

It's best to list your system specs so others can have a better idea as to what you're working with. http://www.vistax64.com/general-disc...formation.html That still doesn't mean you can't run SFC to see if there's any missing/corrupted files. You might want to generate a system health report as well. System Health Report Have you booted into safe mode to see if it happens there as well? |
