Solved hpqste08.exe & hpqtra08.exe safe to disable?

Hi there. I have Windows Vista Home Premium on an Acer Aspire 5100 laptop, a simple HP Deskjet D1460 printer and no scanners or something alike installed. I want to disable them or set them to manual but I don't what could happen. Is it safe to?

I dont see any reason why it would cause a problem to set them to manual there. However, set a recovery point previous to doing so. Can never be too safe now can we ?

Those are most likely your printer drivers so I would leave them alone.

HP uses an all-in-one driver. mansrm81 is right. If you disable part of them you will probably have to reinstall your driver to get your printer working.
