Vista - fonts are gone wrong and can’t change them back

Hi
I am having this problem of my fonts in vista has gone wrong and I can’t change them back. I didn’t do anything to change them it just happened.

I tried changing the theme and appearance but nothing worked. Not all the fonts in the system are affected also. The button fonts are now bold. Also windows live messenger fonts are bold. Message box fonts are also bold. Google talk fonts and some other application fonts have changed to a very small font hardly readable.

I just don’t want to reinstall to fix this

. Some of the menus in some applications I am working on hardly readable now

. It is very difficult to work.
Can anyone tell me how to fix this?

Hi there

recently my fonts in vista have changed in certain programs, and i do not know how to return them to default.

Especially in MS Word 2007
