Help, I deleted vista and don't know how to get it back without a cd.

Hello; I bought a new computer a few months ago. I was having problems with vista from day 1. It kept flashing, vista would do a flicker and that was it, so i deleted vista completely from my computer, thinking i could go to the vista website and re-download, well guess what i cant. please help, i would like my ie back. how do i do this. :confused:

Hello,

As this is new computer your only recourse, other than purchasing a new copy of Vista, would be to contact the suppler you purchased the computer from and seeing what options they can offer you

i typed in windows help and system information and i got an error prompt pcdrsyinfostorage.p5x has stopped working. a problem caused the program to stop working correctly. windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.

Hi scoutmom,

Did you get any literature when you got your computer? Have a look through that and check to see if there are any recovery disks - if there are, use them and follow any given instructions. If not, you might still be able to recover your computer as it may have an image of the OS stored on a hidden partition. To access this, start your machine and press the appropriate key, typically F11 or F12 (see manual for correct key to press). Again, follow the given instructions.

Start > Help and supoport > Backup and Recovery > Using Backup and Recovery Manager....here you have all sorts of options and things to do. If possible , create a set of System Rec DVD's. You need three DVD-R discs. (NOT DVD-RW, NOT DVD+R or +RW) ONLY DVD-R. HP allows you only one shot at this . So don't mess up. Read instructions very carefully and do it step by step to the letter. Do not multi-task while doing this. Pay attention!

I am not sure. BTW, you may not need three DVD's with 32-bit. But you will know once started...REC MGR will tell you.
