Hide programs in add/remove?

Is there any way to hide installed programs in add/remove?

Re: Hide programs in add/remove?

Hello Panais,

You cannot only hide a uninstall entry, but you can remove the entry without uninstalling the program.

Hope this helps,

Re: Hide programs in add/remove?

Brink, I do not see Remove Uninstall option in Home Premium 64-bit. Is it only Ultimate feature?

And is there any benefit or advantage in doing this?

Re: Hide programs in add/remove?

Hi Anton,

I would use Method Two or Three to remove it if you wanted to.

Programs and Features - Remove Uninstall Entry

The only advantage of removing the uninstall entry is that you would not accidentally uninstall the program by mistake. You could still uninstall the program though by navigating to the program's uninstall file in it's C:\Program Files folder.

I suppose another advantage is if you uninstalled the program and it is still listed there for some reason.
