Vista - advice needed please

my computer was acting up i restored it twice . still no luck , i reinstalled vista now all it will do is let me put my password in. the mouse doesnt work. i would like to take it back to the state it was before i put the disk in . is there anyway that this can be done. or have i destroed my computer for good

The advice you got on the other post was the best you could get.
