Solved startup processes that you can disable

im new here so i apologize if there is already a thread like this.

i got my laptop about a year ago and have just started to dig into all the microsoft crap that runs on it. what i want to know is any and all processes that you guys know of that can be disabled in msconfig, or any other performance tips.

its disappointing that my old desktop computer (winXP pro, 2.4ghz, 512MB) is aboout as fast as this one (vista home P, 1.9GHz dual, 1GB)
