2 admins, help!

New Member
I created a new admin account by accident because I needed to do something, now I don't.

How do I get rid of it?

I put a code in the Command Prompt to create one.

It was like administrator /create:yes or something.

I know at the end it had /[something]:yes

Please help me get rid of the newly created admin!

If you remember how to create that admin. account, enter no instead of yes.
That account, by the way, is the Built-in Administrator. You did not create it. You merely enabled it. It's part of the Vista ptograms.

Disable Built-in Administrator Account
Make sure you are logged on as your regular user account, and then open an administrator mode command prompt as above. Type the following command:
net user administrator /active:no

The administrator account will now be disabled, and shouldn't show up on the login screen anymore.

Enable the (Hidden) Administrator Account on Windows Vista

Many people familiar with prior versions of Windows are curious what happened to the built-in Administrator account that was always created by default. Does this account still exist, and how can you access it?
The account is created in Windows Vista, but since it's not enabled you can't use it. If you are troubleshooting something that needs to run as administrator, you can enable it with a simple command.
Note: You really shouldn't use this account for anything other than troubleshooting. In fact, you probably shouldn't use it at all.
Enable Built-in Administrator Account
First you'll need to open a command prompt in administrator mode by right-clicking and choosing "Run as administrator" (or use the Ctrl+Shift+Enter shortcut from the search box)

Now type the following command:
net user administrator /active:yes

You should see a message that the command completed successfully. Log out, and you'll now see the Administrator account as a choice.

You'll note that there's no password for this account, so if you want to leave it enabled you should change the password.

Thank you so much guys!

I wanted to raise the command level but it wouldn't let me.

I'll edit my post with the details in a sec.

Right click the thing > Properties > Compatibility > Privelige Level.

It wont let me check that box.

This site told me I needed to in order to run this game on Vista.

It won't create an account O.o?

Anyway, thanks.

For Vista Users
Have you tried right clicking the .exe and running it as admin?

Enigma210,
Try to read others' replies carefully.
Follow SIW2's reply. Click the " Administrator account " ( that's a link which will lead you to a tutorial ).
Follow the tutorial . The step 1 is also a link. Click on the link and it will show you how to elevate the CMD into Admin. CMD.
Just follow the rest of the tutorial.

What user account do you have installed? If you tried installing the program under the built in Admin- try reinstalling under your default user acct
You really shouldn't use this built in admin account for anything other than troubleshooting.

I'm not using the built-in Admin account, I'm on my other admin account I named myself.

I used the first link in SIW2's post and got rid of the main admin.

Forget it, some reason I'm banned from the forums now.

Thanks.

if it says your user account does not exist, then you may have accidently deleted it, and may not be able to log back into Vista if you restart.
I suggest you do a system restore to a point before you had this difficulty, and try to install the Rose game from your account using the "run as admin" function as stated on the website link.

Also try:
Control Panel>Programs>Programs and Features>Use an older program with this version of windows
