Dear Vista Forums,
I was currently running Windows Vista Ultimate x64.
The problem that I am currently having is each time I try to logon,
I get the following message:

" The User Profile Service service failed the logon.
User profile can not be loaded'

I have looked around for possible fixes, and they all say to login using the administrator account.

I try to activate the administrator account with MS DOS, using the Vista DVD, but am having no success in acivating it, and so am stuck in being able to go any where with it.

I have a Windows Vista Ultimate DVD.

Any ideas on where I can go from here?

Please ask for any extra information required/needed.

Thankyou very much for that Dwarf.

The problem is though,
that I am not able to login into any account to complete the steps because:
a) When I try logging in , Safe Mode, my account logs in but then stops at a black screen with *Safe Mode Build etc.* being shown in the corners. Thats where is stops.

b) I am not able to activate the administrator account.

Theres an update.
