Ok, I have a laptop with the Windows Vista Home Premium operating system. I use the windows mail feature to send/receive my comcast email. Often times, I get emails with pictures embedded into the body of the mail. Frequently, the pictures will show up as simply a blank square with the red "X" in the top left hand corner. This occurs for multiple users; however, sometimes they show up! If it was just one user, I would think they didn't know what they were doing; however, emails with this problem come from multiple people and everyone who they send it to can view the pictures except for me.

Secondly, my "Windows Explorer" keeps freezing. I'll have multiple windows open and click on my "start" bar to select a different window, and nothing happens. A few seconds later, a pop up comes up saying the Windows Explorer has stopped responding, do I want to restart or end the session or cancel and wait for it to respond. Either way it goes-once the session is restarted, it will work for a few minutes then freeze again.

Finally-sometimes, when I try to change my volume, they symbol disappears or a box appears saying that I do not have any speakers installed. Clearly I have speakers installed because most of it works. However every now and then the volume icon won't appear in the lower right hand corner of the "start" bar.

All of these issues are rather new issues. I've had this laptop for almost 2 years now. The picture issue began roughly a year ago, the volume issue began approximately 5 months ago, and the "Windows Explorer" freezing began in the last 3 to 4 months.

Please please please, help if you can!!
