Recover data from erased CD-RW

Hi, all.

It looks like I accidentally erased a CD-RW that had some personal information backed-up onto it. hehe

1. Is it possible to recover data from an erased CD-RW?

2. If so, is there some software that is recommended for the job?

It would take me quite a while to find some of the information elsewhere; so, I'm just trying to save some time here.

Your input is much appreciated!

That method sounds like a load of BS to me. I don't think you can get it back from the disk, unless it is in your Recyble bin.

No, the data is not in my recycle bin -- i wish.

I found some info at the isoBuster site, but I think this is a dead deal. O well.

I have never tried that, but it may be worth a go. If you do manage to get a lead-in written, you might see if this free app. can then find anything

I used EasyRecovery Pro V6 but it was on my HDD, I do not know if it will work for CDR-W's

From browsing the Net, it looks like most anything that works on the HDD won't work on CD's, but I'll look into it. I'll definitely check out Zip Recovery Toolbox.
