Webcam timers

I don't know what section to post this in. Most webcams have timers on them so you can set it to how ever many seconds and let it the picture snap. But I can't find anywhere under my webcam settings how to do that. The webcam is built in and I have a Toshiba Satellite M305D-S4830. Can I download a software that can set my webcam to take pictures every few seconds? I don't think spilt cam will do that.
