| Vista Ultimate - 32 bit | How to hide hidden FILES and FOLDERS during SEARCH Basically i keep my thoughts personally secret as well as my files in PC, so i want to know how to hide hidden files and folders during search in Vista,when other person try or accidently saw those files and locations in my PC. I am using Vista 32 bit Ultimate version. I tried some options in index that didn't understand much about it to hide hidden folders and files during search. I don't want to show the search results that i made those folders and files hidden to be visible in search. Please guys , please help me how to set it up.  Sorry for forget to tell that i had those files and folders not in new hard disk -seagate 250 GB SATA], those files and folders in secondary HDD [seagate 80Gb barracuda IDE HDD] [note: even i don't want to install third party software that don't want to know the third person that i installed this 3rd part software for that purpose.] Last edited by arulprakash; 01-19-2009 at 02:57 PM.. You could encrypt your files and folders, then have anyone else that uses your computer use their own user account instead of yours. This way they cannot access your enrypted file or folder.
