Vista 64bit Ultimate rebooting/BSOD

Hi All,

Initially I'd this problem...

Event filter with query "SELECT * FROM __InstanceModificationEvent WITHIN 60 WHERE TargetInstance ISA "Win32_Processor"
AND TargetInstance.LoadPercentage > 99" could not be reactivated in namespace "//./root/CIMV2" because of error 0x80041003.
Events cannot be delivered through this filter until the problem is corrected.

But found the solution from technet for the above error and that had helped. Event viewer didn't show those errors but I'm getting more frequent reboots and BSOD (all kinds of difference errors.. I've also seen a win2k.sys in the BSOD. rest were too fast).

Sometimes, it just hangs. Sometimes, it hangs with a loud continue sound from my speaker.

Sometimes after a hang, BSOD, hard reboot.. the screen goes blank & I've to push the graphic card back into the slot for it to work.

I've had this problem from the day one it was built.

I can't find any information from event viewer other than BSOD errors.
Which I've no idea what that meant? This is so very frustrating. I wish I spare items to try and troubleshoot one by one
but I just don't know where to start

Specs are...
MSI P-45 Platinum board
Intel Core2Quad Q6600
XFX Geforce 9500GT 512MB DDR3
500GB Hitachi SATA2 HDD
Corsair 4GB RAM
Vista 64bit Ultimate
Corsair PSU
CoolerMaster casing

any help and guidance is appreciated. Does anyone knows how to understand or decipher those minidumps by Vista?

thx,
suds
