Would Like to create a "My Documents" Folder

    Hi,

I know this may have been discussed here before, so bare with me.

I would like to create a My Documents folder with the same properties as in Windows XP. The reason for this is so I can have multiple machines setup to use an UNC path shared across a network.

I like the new Documents feature in Vista, but want to leave it alone for users to do with what they like.

    Thanks,
    Ted

Why not just make a newly created "documents" folder shared across the network- all network users will be able to read/modify the data within.

I would like to know if this can be done. There may be times when the location would change and we would simply like it to read My Documents.

What do you mean when you say the location may change? Is it on a network HD storage device.
Just create a new folder called Documents and select sharing. This will give you the option to allow other users and other computers access.
