Clean Install Issue

So i just finished building my computer and went to Install Vista 64 bit.

The frist issue: It seems like its moving really really slow. Take minimum 30 secs to go from most screens. Is this usual?

Second Issue: I finally got to the 'Select Your Drive to install on' Page and i notice a warning saying drive may fail soon select other. I only have the one 500GB drive so i seleceted it anyway and it tells me "Windows could not create a partition on disk 0. The error occurrred while preparing the computer's system volume. Error Code: 0x80042453."

I also got a similar error last time but with code 80070057.

Is this an indicator of my HDD being dead/faulty? This is my frist solo build so please be easy.

Thanks in advanced

My Computer

Hi,

I just heard from Steve Bass that Seagate drives are having issues.
According to Seagate :

In some unique circumstances, the data on the hard drives may become inaccessible to the user when the host system is powered on.

There is a firmware upgrade available - to see if you need one, download and run Seagate's Drive Detect.
