Increase Taskbar Transparency

How can I make my taskbar more transparent.

Attached is a screenshot of my desktop. The windows transparency is great, but I'd like to get rid of some of the "smokey-ness" of the taskbar.

Any suggestions?

Thx!

Re: Increase Taskbar Transparency

Just go there, and slide it all the way to the left like it is...

Though I take it you want it glassier?

I messed with it, and it appears to darken when windows are open, and get clearer when the desktop shows.

Re: Increase Taskbar Transparency

Thanks for your reply Bob. The thing is, I want it the at the same transparency level as the normal window - if possible. Whether my windows are showing or not I have the same transparency level on the taskbar.

Re: Increase Taskbar Transparency

Interesting.... Well, when you have a full screen window, the task bar and the window lose all transparency. When a window is not full screen, then full transparency in enabled...

Is that not working for you?

Re: Increase Taskbar Transparency

I'm running VistaGlazz, so transparencies remain when windows are maximized.

However, the taskbar, as you can see in the image, is much less transparent than the frames around windows. I'd like the taskbar to be "more" transparent.

Re: Increase Taskbar Transparency

I'm sure glazz has nothing to do with the transparency levels...

Re: Increase Taskbar Transparency

Well you never know. As far as I can tell, that is as transparent as you can make it...
