I am sure that this has been covered before but I tried to search it and I didn't find anything. I have the problem that when I resume from sleep mode the computer spins up my dvd drive to the max and it does not respond anymore. In the device manager it no longer shows the dvd installed. The eject button does not do anything. I have to restart the computer and then it works fine again... until the next sleep resume. I have tried to talk to Gateway about the issue but they are morons and are no help.

I have SP1 installed and that did not cure my problem. I tried the hotfix but when I run that program it says that it is not for my problem or something. I do not know where or how I am supposed to install the hotfix but none the less it did not work. I just got this computer and so far this has not been fun...
