Need help setting file associations for .email

    Vista Home Premium 32 bit

    Need help setting file associations for .email

    When trying to open any attachment with the extension .email I get the dreaded message that there are no programs that will open this file and I have to create an extension in the Set Associations Control Panel.
    I have Vista OS 32 bit Home.
    All other extensions .eml work just fine and are shown to be opened in "Windows Mail" but the .email extension just will not open.
    Any help would be appreciated.

    Hello JGalt, and welcome to Vista Forums.

    You should be able to right click on the .email file and click on Open With, then navigate to the C:\Program Files\Windows Mail\WinMail.exe file to open it with. If for some reason that you do not have Open With, then you can rename the .email file extension to .eml instead.
