| Home Premium | vista wont boot I tried to boot my 64 bit home premium today on my laptop that came with vista and it said windows failed to start because of a missing kernel. This is what it exactly says: File: \Windows\system32\ntkrnlpa.exe Status: Oxc00000e9 Info: Windows failed to load because the kernel is missing, or corrupt. It said the I should insert the windows installation disc and restart my computer and then click on Repair Your Computer. I tried this but it said that Startup Repair cannot repair this computer automatically. I'm really stumped here so any help would be appreciated thanks |

| Windows 7 RC x64 (7100) | Re: vista wont boot Any changes that you may have done in your computer before that? Your file may have been corrupted, or your system may be having hardware malfuntion (worst case). Any message on why the Vista disc cannot repair your computer? |
