| Vista-not sure | "Windows cannot repair this computer automatically" Hi, Can anyone tell me what I can do to start my computer? It gives me the option to start it normally or do start up repair. When i do the start up repair it gives me the message in the subject line. I tried hitting F8 and starting in safe mode but it does the same thing. At one point I was able to view some details and it mentioned something about "system corrupt" but I cannot find that again and I also got to a point where I could log in as Administrator, but after two password attempts it now says my account is disabled....ugh. Any help would be soooooo appreciated. Mahalo! Here is what it says under problem details: Problem Event Name: StartupRepairV2 Problem Signature 01: AutoFailover Problem Signature 02: 6.0.6000.16386.60.60000.16386 Problem Signature 03: 6 Problem Signature 04: 720907 Problem Signature 05: CorruptVolume Problem Signature 06: NoRootCause Problem Signature 07: 0 Problem Signature 08: 2 Problem Signature 09: WrpRepair Problem Signature 10: 2 OS Version: 6.0.6000.2.0.0.256.1 Locale ID: 1033 Last edited by jenahyou; 01-27-2009 at 12:27 PM.. |

| Vista x64 Ultimate SP2, Windows 7 Ultimate x64 | Re: "Windows cannot repair this computer automatically" Hello Jenahyou, and welcome to Vista Forums. You might see if you can do a System Restore at startup using a restore point dated before this problem to see if it may be able to fix this for you. Hope this helps, Shawn |
