Hidden Fonts in Vista

I have fonts showing up in my programs. They nearly all start with @ and have weird names like Nim Sum ( is this like Dim Sum?) Anyway, when I go to the fonts folder they are not there. I have hidden files showing. Anyone know where these are coming from and how to get rid of them? Every time I accidently hit one the program I am in shuts down i.e. word, wordPerfect, print shop. Non of these fonts have come with any program that I have installed.:confused: I'm totally confused.

Try a scan with a antivirus or a system restore. You never know...

You may be able to open control panel>folder options>View tab and choose "do not show hidden files and folders" I hope this helps.

I scanned today. Nothing. The show hidden fonts is unchecked. In properties it says:
TrueType Collection Font File (.ttc) and it says it created on Nov 06. I bought this Dell laptop 5 months ago, new. It says that these fonts are copyright Han Yang I & C Co. Ltd. When I try to delete these it says that I don't have permissions to do this. I have found no way to change the permissions. I have followed the instructions in Vista on how to add or change the permissions but the add button or change button never highlight.
