| 64 Bit Vista Home Permium | Recovery Drive (d)vs Operation System Disc My Recovery Drive says it is almost full. I reinstalled the Operation System and it still says the same thing. First of all what is the difference between the Op Sys Disc and the Recovery Drive? I would like to empty the RD and get rid of the warning. Thanks |

| Windows 7 x64 build 7100 & Ubuntu 9.04 | Re: Recovery Drive (d)vs Operation System Disc The recovery drive is built in on most PB computers by manufacturers, containing a boot image of the factory default of the computer. I am actually going to set one myself on my PC, once I get my new HDD. If you want to delete the partition (not recommended by the management, but ok to do) then open up Disk Management and select the partition, and select "format". Once that is done, you can merge the two partitions together. If you need to see the steps better, the tutorial is here, courtesy of Brink. ~Lordbob |
